Mode Global appoints two new non-executive directors

Mike Robertson joins the group with extensive experience in financial services, including the global payment and forex trading sector, while David Shrier is a well-recognised artificial intelligence, blockchain and fintech expert

Mode Global Holdings PLC (LSE:MODE, OTCQB:MODGF) announced two members of its board of directors left their roles with immediate effect.

Current non-executive director Gary Wilkinson and executive director Jonathan Conway stepped down and were replaced by Mike Robertson and David Shrier as non-executive directors.

Robertson joins the fintech group with extensive experience in financial services, including the global payment and forex trading sector.

He worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC and Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) Merrill Lynch, where he most recently was managing director and global head of transactional forex trading.

Shrier is a well-recognised artificial intelligence, blockchain and fintech expert.

He has delivered US$10bn of value-creation opportunities with firms such as Ernst & Young, Wolters Kluwer and The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS), as well as leading private equity and venture capital funds.

Shrier also serves as a professor of practice (AI and innovation) with Imperial College Business School, London.

“As a London-listed fintech, we are a rarity and have no doubt that their combined experience and guidance can help us to accelerate our growth as we enter the next chapter as a company,” Jonathan Rowland, Mode executive chairman, commented.
