Surefire Resources NL (ASX:SRN)’s Marcus Fliss talks highly prospective geology at Perenjori West with Proactive’s Andrew Scott. The company recently acquired the project, directly adjacent to its iron ore project, in an under-explored greenstone belt.
The new tenure holds a package of volcanogenic-hosted massive sulphides-style and bulk leach extractable gold (BLEG) mineralisation targets, as well as several more untested targets within the mafic/ultramafic sequence of geology on the project.
Perenjori West and Surefire’s other tenements nearby are hosted in the West Yilgarn Nickel-Copper-Platinum Group Element (PGE) Province, host to the recently discovered Julimar PGE deposit.
Surefire believes Perenjori West could be host to gold and PGE-nickel-copper mineralisation, but has yet to validate its geophysical interpretation with further testing.
