Viva Gold begins drill program at Tonopah Gold Project, closes $4.3M in private placement

Viva Gold Corp (TSX-V:VAU, OTCQB:VAUCF) President & CEO James Hesketh tells Proactive the Vancouver, Canada-based group has begun a 2,000 meter drill program at the Tonopah Gold Project in western Nevada. Hesketh says the initial drill program will focus primarily in the western and eastern extents of the main deposit. A second reverse circulation drill will be added onto the site in the late summer period. The group is funding the program with the recent $4.3M raise it closed through a private placement.
