SPYR (OTCQB:SPYR), doing business as SPYR Technologies, has announced that its Applied Magix Inc subsidiary is considering developing HomeKit Secure Routers while it investigates reselling OEM (original equipment manufacturer) HomeKit Secure Router products.
The Texas-based technology company said having a router provide a secure foundation is necessary for anyone setting up a HomeKit-based environment.
“Apple has provided the specs for HomeKit Secure Routers to allow smart homeowners to further secure their smart home environment," Applied Magix CEO Harald Zink said in a statement. "We are currently evaluating various router products to use as the foundation for our own branded HomeKit Secure Router, but are also considering reselling best-of-breed OEM products until then."
