Future PLC (LSE:FUTR), the publishing group, has acquired WhoWhatWear, a digital-only women's lifestyle publisher based in the US.
The business has been acquired from Clique Brands Inc for an undisclosed sum. Future said the acquisition will be funded from the group’s existing facilities.
Future said WhoWhatWear has 12mln online users, according to GoogleAnalytics, and 10mln followers on social media. Roughly 90% of its revenue is derived from the US.

We look forward to working with them to further bolster our Women's Lifestyle scale and reach, notably in the US, and are excited about leveraging its scale with our proprietary technology and operating model," said Zillah Byng-Thorne, the chief executive of Future.
Shares in Future were up 2.2% at 1,985p in early deals.
