Semper Fortis Esports PLC (AQSE:SEMP) said it reached an agreement to sign three new talents to its SMPR Esports talent roster.
The esports and gaming company has signed Jack Wignall from Preston, also known as ‘Goal Poacher,’ on a one-year deal to its FIFA team. He is considered to be one of the best upcoming talents and at the age of 17, Jack recently won the ePremier League representing Norwich Football Club.
Ayaan Ahmed (‘Asura’) from London signed a one-month contract as a content creator and commentator across Nintendo Smash Bros and other games. Upon completion, there is an option to extend his contract by 11 months and Semper hopes to use his voice across broadcasting efforts.
Kim-Philippe Ruddy Badiabio from London signed the same format of a deal as Ahmed but as a content creator across Tekken and other fight-based games. He’s a well-known and experienced fighter in Tekken and other games, which will be significant in promoting SMPR across this category and gaining exposure to its audiences, the company said in a statement.
"SMPR continues to grow its roster and offering across UK esports, securing amazing talents and openings to new audience types that will contribute to SMPRs brand growth,” Jassem Osseiran, chief operating officer, commented.
The company said it recently terminated the contract of FIFA professional Jaskarn Singh.
