Water Tower Research's Dmitry Silversteyn talks to Proactive about the research group's newly published report on the pending merger between Marrone Bio Innovations (NASDAQ:MBII) and Bioceres Crop Solutions, as well as the broad bio-based agricultural market. Argentinean-based company Bioceres recently announced an agreement to combine, via an all-stock merger, with US-headquartered Marrone Bio, which is expected to close in the third quarter of 2022, resulting in the creation of one of the larger, pure-play bio-ag companies.
