Avicanna Inc. (TSX:AVCN) CEO Aras Azadian tells Proactive the Toronto, Canada-based commercial stage biopharmaceutical company has closed a private placement offering for gross proceeds of $1.475 million from Kihei, Hawaii-based Emotional Intelligence Ventures (Ei.Ventures). Azadian says the group will use the funds from the raise to support its commercialization and revenue generation efforts.
