Technology Minerals PLC (LSE:TM1) has appointed a chief financial officer with significant natural resources experience.
Chartered accountant James Cable’s most recent appointment was as CFO with the GemRock Company.
Before that he held senior positions with Alien Metals and Mantle Diamonds. He also spent more than a decade with Exxon.
He joins a battery metal group that is not only focused on developing projects to extract the valuable metals used to power electric vehicles, phones and laptops but is also commercialising technologies that recycle the end product.
Of his appointment, Cable said: "It is great to be joining the team at Technology Minerals and progressing their vision of a circular economy for battery metals through their junior mining and battery recycling businesses.
“I look forward to continuing working in the natural resource sector and furthering my knowledge of and interest in recycling as Recyclus scales up its operations."
