Tom, Mason, Bramble Energy’s CEO and co-founder, explains the growth of green hydrogen and why its products, based on pioneering electrolyser technology, offer major advantages over larger rivals.
Hydrogen is a great storage option for renewable energy, says Mason, adding that Bramble is already starting to produce hydrogen-powered off-grid generators.
A recent £35mln funding round for the group, which was spun out from UCL and Imperial College, will also see it moving into vehicle applications and renewable hydrogen production.
“Our investment rate is significantly lower than anybody else in our sector because our technology is manufactured through a subcontracting route,” he adds.
