The company’s mechanical process removes the need for chemical, acidic and thermal purification techniques, making for a greener and more energy-efficient method.
Spherical graphite is used to create battery anodes, and Magnis has received “high performing” results from anodes created from the company’s material. Magnis says its green credentials don’t come with an added cost, but rather represent some of the cheapest green anode graphite on the market.
