Medical imaging specialist Polarean Imaging PLC (AIM:POLX, OTC:PLLWF) said chairman Jonathan Allis is retiring and will be replaced by existing independent director, Ken West.
Allis’ role as head of the remuneration committee will be filled by Dan Brague, who has been appointed as a non-executive director.
The appointment of Brague and the recent addition of Frank Schulkes to the board added "extensive experience in successfully commercialising medical technologies", said chief executive Richard Hullihen.
He added: "On behalf of the board and the whole Polarean team, I would like to thank Jonathan for his expert guidance and chairmanship and wish him well in his retirement."
The company is a pioneer in the use of Xenon gas to for lung imaging and has developed a hybrid drug-device that deploys this expertise.
