Aeris Resources Ltd (ASX:AIS)'s Andre Labuschagne gives a bit of background on the company's $234 million Round Oak Minerals acquisition — a move that substantially boosts the business' production profile. Labuschagne says the buy brings two operating, cash-generating mines into the fold, in addition to the long-life Stocklands development project, which is targeting first production in 2025. The acquisition nearly doubles Aeris' copper equivalent production and boosts its producing asset portfolio to four projects — all of which have exploration upside.
