Sarah Howell, Arecor's CEO, says that the presentation of phase 1 trial data for AT278, the company’s ultra-rapid acting, ultra-concentrated insulin injection, was very well-received at the conference.
What we saw in the trial hit the high end of our expectations, she said and demonstrated that despite that five-fold increase in concentration AT278 had a superior profile to the current standard of care.
The next step will be a key opinion leader event on the 26th of May to explain the patient need for the product.
