The company said there had been progress on the processing, metallurgical, geomechanical, hydrogeological, geotechnical, and environmental and community engagement components of the report. Site investigation work by Knight-Piesold Ltd (KP) was completed in March this year, which included bedrock and surficial drilling as well as pit excavations. A mineral processing and metallurgical testing program is taking place at SGS Canada Inc, with initial flotation testwork designed to confirm parameters from the previous 2012 scoping study work and the best conditions to move forward.

Steppe Gold Limited (TSX:STGO, OTCQX:STPGF) told shareholders that it is continuing to ramp up production at its ATO gold operation in Mongolia following its March restart. During the month of April, the firm reported gold production of approximately 3,350 ounces in two pours, compared to 1,532 ounces in March 2022. "We are very pleased to report continued ramp up of production at the ATO Gold Mine,” CEO Bataa Tumur-Ochir said in a statement.

Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:MTB, OTCQB:MBYMF) has announced that it continues to expand its database of knowledge about its Telegraph copper-gold project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle in partnership with two leading geoscience research groups as the company plans for the 2022 field season. Geological Survey of Canada gold metallogenist Christopher Lawley and Mineral Deposit Research Unit research associate Farhad Bouzari have been assisting the company with its research. The two researchers have analysed a suite of samples from the property, including 80 drill core samples from a 2014 drilling program and 40 surface samples collected during Mountain Boy’s 2021 program.

Southern Silver Exploration Corp (TSX-V:SSV, OTCQX:SSVFF) said drilling has extended silver-polymetallic mineralization at its North Felsite and El Sol targets at the Cerro Las Minitas (CLM) project, in Mexico, which is one of the world's largest undeveloped silver, lead, zinc resources. The latest drilling at North Felsite tested the main silver-lead, zinc skarn and the strongly gold-enriched hanging wall zone and highlights included a 1.2 metre (m) intercept, averaging a bonanza 1,785 grams per ton (g/t) silver, 0.5 g/t gold, 1.4% copper, 3.1% lead and 5.9% zinc. Drilling continues to extend the target to depth which can now be traced for up to 250m on strike and up to 425m below surface, said the company.

Marble Financial Inc said it has forged a licensing agreement dated April 26, 2022, with thirdstream to bring its artificial intelligence (AI) driven financial technology solutions to the over 50 banks, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) companies on thirdstream's platform. Founded in 1997, third-stream has around 50 BFSI clients, who together serve over 6.4 million Canadian consumers. Marble said third stream presents an extensive and expanding ecosystem supporting financial institution needs for online and in-person account opening, onboarding, identity verification, and automated decisioning. It noted that thirdstream’s client base includes Laurentian Bank, Canadian Western Bank (TSX:CWB), Coast Capital Savings, WFCU Credit Union, Home Trust Company, and Coastal Community Savings among others.

Gratomic Inc has announced it has commenced a trenching program on the Jacobina graphite project in Brazil which shows that the property is a highly prospective graphite resource. After signing a definitive agreement to acquire the Jacobina project and the Igrapiuna project, the company said it had begun work on the first trench as part of its due diligence review of the property. Highlights from the first batch of trench assays include an interval of 17 metres (m) at 8.34% total graphitic carbon from 61m to 78m.

Doubleview Gold Corp (TSX-V:DBG, OTCQB:DBLVF) has kicked off its 2022 exploration program at the Hat property in British Columbia. The company said it will work with Obsidian Camps and Logistics Services Inc, a registered Tahltan business, to support the logistics of the program. "We are pleased to kick off our 2022 exploration season with a meaningful partnership working with a premier camp and logistics management company,” CEO Farshad Shirvani told investors.

Vuzix Corporation (NASDAQ:VUZI) announced that it will be rolling out its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) design and manufacturing platform for both advanced waveguides and micro-display technologies at SID Display Week 2022 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California from May 10 to 12. The supplier of smart glasses and augmented reality technologies said it expects the offering will enable customers to reduce costs and ensure the highest quality with Vuzix OEM components, advanced waveguide optics and the world's tiniest display engines.

Aftermath Silver (TSX-V:AAG) Ltd has revealed the first assay results from diamond drilling at its Berenguela silver-copper-manganese project, and the company’s president says its silver, copper and manganese intersections “more than met our expectations." Assays from the central southern Peru project include “multiple, thick, high-grade silver, copper and manganese intersections,” President Ralph Rushton said in a statement. “Holes 003, 004 and 005 returned particularly good silver-copper intercepts. The program to date has more than met our expectations and our geological model is proving to be accurate.” Specifically, hole 003 traversed three zones of mangnesium-rich mineralization with thickness of 7.70 meters, 13.40m and 10.95m, respectively, some of which included high-grade silver mineralization as well.

Sonoro Gold Corp (TSX-V:SGO, OTCQB:SMOFF) announced that it has filed an Environmental Impact Statement, or Manifestacion de Impacto Ambiental (MIA) for its near development-stage Cerro Caliche gold project in Sonora, Mexico. The Canadian exploration and development company said that Mexican law requires mining construction and operation activities to have an approved MIA, as well as a Change of Land Use permit, or Autorizacion en Cambio de Uso de Suelo (ETJ), from the Mexican federal permitting authority, Secretaria de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (SEMARNAT). Sonoro Gold said it is currently completing the “required documentation” for the Change of Land Use application and anticipates filing it with SEMARNAT soon.

African Gold Group Inc has told investors it intends to seek a dual listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and has received in-principle advice from ASX that it would be suitable for listing on the exchange. While the final approval of the listing is subject to it meeting certain customary requirements of the ASX, the Toronto-based company said the receipt of the in-principle advice allows it to move forward with its plans for and preparation of a prospectus for the listing. "Our decision to seek a dual listing on the ASX is a result of significant support from Australian investors into our Kobada Project in South-Western Mali,” the company’s CEO Danny Callow said in a statement. “We believe that a dual listing will unlock further opportunities through access to a broader pool of informed capital, and for AGG to unlock its full value for shareholders.” African Gold Group also announced it will strengthen its board of directors with the addition of Tim Kestell, an Australian domiciled, independent director well known in the investment community and very experienced in guiding companies through the process from developer to producer.

Guardforce AI (NASDAQ:GFAI) Co. Limited has announced the deployment of more than 4,800 robots across nine locations worldwide, and anticipates the number to exceed 10,000 by the end of the year. The robots currently deployed in Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, USA, Guangzhou and Shenzhen cover various industries including, but not limited to government facilities, hospitals, hotels, tourist attractions, restaurants, sports centers, supermarkets, and transportation facilities, the company said. "In just February of this year, we announced we had surpassed 1,400 robot deployments. I am pleased to announce we have now surpassed 4,800 robot deployments worldwide, achieving an important milestone in our global expansion strategy,” said Guardforce chairman Terence Yap in a statement.

Ortho Regenerative Technologies (CSE:ORTH) Inc said the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a patent related to the company's ORTHO-R soft tissue repair platform. The patent, titled ‘Freeze-Dried Polymer Compositions for mixing with platelet rich plasma to form implants for tissue repair and/or composition for therapeutic intra-articular injection’, provides broad protection for both the composition and the method of use of its Ortho-R Technology, the company said. "This US patent is a critical step in protecting our technology platform in the world's largest orthopedic soft tissue repair market and provides further validation of our novel and unique approach to soft tissue repair regenerative technologies,” CEO Philippe Deschamps said in a statement.

Kodiak Copper Corp has unveiled encouraging final drill results from last year's program at the MPD copper-gold project in southern British Columbia and said this year's fully-funded program of up to 25,000 metres (m) is now underway. The assays hail from the final seven holes from the program and confirm the 2.7 kilometre (km) long copper-in-soil anomaly Dillard as "substantial" porphyry target and also extended the known strike length of the Gate Zone to 1 km. Both Dillard and Gate Zone remain open to extension in multiple directions and will be further tested in the 2022 program, the firm said. "Due to the significant multi-kilometre scale of the Dillard copper target, the immediate discovery of higher-grading copper mineralization in our first two drill holes is an exciting new development that we are eager to follow up with more drilling in 2022," said Claudia Turnquest, the Kodiak CEO in a statement.

Copper Fox Metals Inc (TSX-V:CUU, OTCQX:CPFXF) has provided an update on its 100% owned Eaglehead polymetallic porphyry copper project in British Columbia, saying logistics planning for the 2022 field program is progressing, with the drilling and archeological contracts having been executed. The North American copper explorer and developer also noted that Moose Mountain Technical Services (MMTS) has been retained to review all data for the Eaglehead project, including the proposed 2022 drilling program. “Positive results from the 2022 drilling program, could indicate a continuous zone of mineralization exceeding 1.5 km in strike length and potentially lead to advancing the project to the resource estimation stage,” Copper Fox Metals CEO, Elmer Stewart, said in a statement.

Starton Therapeutics Inc, a clinical stage biotechnology company, has updated on its first-in-human Phase 1 STAR-LLD clinical trial, where continuous delivery lenalidomide infusion in healthy subjects appears to be well tolerated. The company noted that four subjects in the first cohort received 24 hours of STAR-LLD continuous lenalidomide, and a single oral dose of lenalidomide after a 24-hour washout period. “We are encouraged by the progress of this Phase 1 clinical study so far. As expected, the STAR-LLD continuous infusion appears to be very well-tolerated with no related adverse events,” said Mohamad Hussein, Starton's Scientific Committee Chair.

CULT Food Science Corp announced that its portfolio company CELL AG TECH has signed an agreement with the Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM) to scale-up its manufacturing process for cell-based fish products. CELL AG will collaborate with the Toronto, Ontario-based CCRM to develop a cost-effective and efficient manufacturing process for fish cells in bioreactors, which will significantly advance its technology and product quality, the company said. “A collaboration with CCRM aligns well with our development strategy, where we focus on our core expertise while benefiting from and leveraging the experience, capabilities and infrastructure of organizations that excel in complementary fields important to cellular agriculture,” said Josh Pollack, co-founder of CELL AG, in a statement.

DRDGOLD Ltd (NYSE:DRD, JSE:DRD, OTC:DRDGF) has said its cash and cash equivalents increased by 70.4 million Rand (R) to R2 309.5 million in the quarter ending March 31, 2022, after paying an interim cash dividend of R167.8 million for the six months ended December 31, 2021. Management said this positions the company favourably to consider declaring a final cash dividend in or around August 2022, in the absence of unforeseen circumstances, adding that it remains free of bank debt as at end of March 2022. The company also reported a 3% quarter-on-quarter decrease in gold production to 1,391 kilograms (kg) in the three months to end-March 2022, due primarily to a 5% decrease in tonnage throughput.

Looking Glass Labs Ltd (LGL) has announced the release of the roadmap for the coming months for the GenZeroes live-action series, a product of its flagship studio, House of Kibaa (HoK). The company issued the statement ahead of today’s premier of the GenZeroes trailer, which will be released at 12.00pm Pacific Time. Fabled Copper Corp has reported impressive results from its 2021 surface field work on the Davis Keays Eagle Vein area, at its Muskwa Copper project, in northern British Columbia. The Vancouver-based junior mining exploration company revealed that six additional parallel veins were discovered, and the values were as high as 6.73% copper. Fabled Copper’s project is made up of the Neil property and the Toro property in British Columbia and the company also holds rights to the Bronson property. In a statement, Fabled Copper CEO Peter Hawley pointed out that “a total of 19 specific areas” were mapped and prospected during the 2021 field season.

Adastra Holdings (CSE:XTRX) Ltd has reported significant financial year and 4Q revenue increases as the company expands its product reach, introduces innovative cannabis products to market, and raises brand awareness through marketing and sales initiatives. For the 2021 financial year, Adastra reported a 124% boost to its revenue to achieve $5.6 million compared to $2.5 million in 2020. The company also recorded an impressive increase to its 4Q revenue of $2 million compared to $1.2 million for the same period in 2020.

QC Copper and Gold Inc has announced significant new intersections from its flagship Opemiska copper operation, which the company said has increased the size of the starter pit. The junior company said that intersections include significant mineralized holes from zones within and outside the conceptual pit. Highlights from the results include 94.5 metres of 0.42% copper equivalent and 192 metres of 0.33% copper equivalent, according to a release.

Casa Minerals Inc (TSX-V:CASA, OTC:CASXF) is getting set to drill at least 10,000 metres at the Congress gold property in Arizona. The firm said it had awarded a diamond drilling contract to Godbe Drilling LLC of Colorado to complete the program. Congress is a historic high-grade gold producing mine that has not been explored or produced since 1992, Casa Minerals told investors.

Camino Minerals Corp said it has executed an agreement with AK Drilling International S.A., a Peru-based drilling company, to commence 1,500 metres of core drilling at its Los Chapitos copper project near the coastal town of Chala in Arequipa Department, Peru. The company noted that mobilization to the site is scheduled for May 15, 2022. Exploration drilling at the new high-grade copper targets at the Lourdes-Condori Zones is in a newly permitted area that has not been previously drilled. The Lourdes-Condori drill targets are centered around near-surface high-grade oxidized copper outcrops that are potential extensions of the structurally controlled mineralization reported at the Adriana and Carlotta zones along the 8 kilometre Diva fault trend.

Unrivaled Brands (OTCQX:UNRV) Inc interim CEO Tiffany Davis has outlined the US multistate operator’s “100 day transformation plan” in a letter to shareholders. Davis took on the CEO role following the recent departure of Frank Knuettel having sat on the company's board of directors since April 2021. In the letter, Davis called 2021 “a year of transformation and growth” in which the California-based company reported topline year-over-year revenue growth of 674%.

Marvel Discovery Corp CEO Karim Rayani has said he believes the Rocky Mountain rare earth metal belt - in which the company’s British Columbia rare earth element (REE) project is located - holds huge potential, noting that reports last month from neighboring Defence Metals lend credence to this. In April, Defence reported results from five drill holes at its Wicheeda deposit, which included two of the three highest-grade-by-width intercepts of the 2021 drill campaign, according to a press release at the time. Drill hole WI21-58 averaged 3.09% total rare earth oxides (TREO) over 251 meters, including 3.92% TREO over 80 meters. Hole WI21-59 returned 2.76% TREO over 212 meters, including 3.25% TREO over 90 meters from the surface.

Forward Water Technologies (TSX-V:FWTC) Corp said it has entered into an agreement for Cornish Lithium Ltd to fund trials of its Forward Osmosis (FO) technology on Cornish geothermal waters. The deal follows favourable initial results that demonstrated the potential of Forward Water’s FO technology to increase lithium concentrations of Cornish geothermal waters. Initial computer modelling and FO simulation testing delivered positive results in concentrating lithium by as much as a factor of 10, Forward Water said. Locating and developing lithium resources is crucial in the global transition to clean energy and Cornish Lithium is focused on producing sustainable low-carbon lithium from sub-surface geothermal waters found to circulate across Cornwall.

Aurion Resources (TSX-V:AU) Ltd has reported encouraging winter drill results from the Helmi discovery on its joint venture (JV) with B2Gold in Finland, which, the company said, suggests it may be a "significant" find. Aurion said 29 holes, for 6,549.7 metres (m) were drilled at Helmi and nearby target areas from February to April this year and the latest assays hail from the first three holes. "Higher grades and longer intervals returned from early drilling provide further evidence that Helmi may be a significant discovery," said Matti Talikka, Aurion's CEO in a statement. "With winter conditions the JV was able to drill Helmi from preferred orientations. We look forward to the results from the remaining 26 out of 29 holes. The current winter program will be followed by summer and fall programs informed by data from this and earlier work," he added.

Playgon Games (TSX-V:DEAL, OTCQB:PLGNF) Inc announced that it has applied for a Gaming Related Supplier-Manufacturer license with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The Vancouver-based developer of digital content for the iGaming market said the license will enable it to supply AGCO-approved operators with its live dealer tables from its state-of-the-art studio in Las Vegas. “Ontario is now a key regulated market we wish to service with our mobile-first live dealer technology,” Playgon CEO Darcy Krogh said in a statement.

Ultra Lithium Inc said it has closed the second tranche of its previously announced private placement, raising gross proceeds of C$570,200. The company said the net proceeds will be used to fund the exploration of the company's properties in Argentina, Ontario and Nevada as well as for general working capital purposes. The company sold 3,167,778 units at a price of C$0.18 each, with each unit comprising one common share and one half of one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the company at a price of C$0.25 for a period of 12 months following the closing date of the offering.

Cloud DX (TSX-V:CDX, OTCQB:CDXFF) Inc, a provider of virtual care and remote patient monitoring solutions, has announced that it will support the Peterborough County/City Community Paramedic team with its Connected Health solution for remote patient monitoring. The company noted that Peterborough County is the third Ontario paramedical provider to onboard Cloud DX (TSX-V:CDX, OTCQB:CDXFF) Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), in the last month. Like the others, it said the county will use the Cloud DX (TSX-V:CDX, OTCQB:CDXFF) platform and devices to monitor community members' vital signs at home, enabling quicker action and improving response times if a user's metric is out of range.

Usha Resources Ltd (TSX-V:USHA) has announced the listing of its shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE) under the symbol JO0. The company said the listing marks another step towards creating greater liquidity and increasing shareholder and overall market awareness for Usha's drill-ready projects. The company's common shares are now cross-listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, the OTCQB and the FSE. "With the recent acquisition of the Jackpot Lake Lithium Project, three planned drill programs and mounting investor interest in our Nicobat Nickel Project spin out, it makes sense to broaden USHA's visibility and connect with a larger, global community of potential European institutional and retail investors," Deepak Varshney, CEO of Usha Resources said in a statement. "Anytime we can make it easier and help facilitate investment in the Company by the European investment community. we'll take action so that all shareholders benefit."

Power Nickel Inc (TSX-V:PNPN) said it has added $833,568.7 to the capital of the company through the issue of 5,557,125 shares as a result of warrant exercises. The company said the funds will be used for the 5,000 Metre follow-up drill program on its promising Nisk Nickel Sulphide project south of James Bay, in Quebec, Canada. In a statement, Power Nickel CEO Terry Lynch commented: "We were very pleased with the drilling results at Nisk and are quite excited to be able to follow up our initial program with this new program in Q2 after breakup. We will continue to test the extension of Nisk Main and additionally several new target zones. Globally these deposits tend to exist as pods or as a string of pearls. With each pearl representing a deposit. We believe this is what we have here at Nisk and, with our actual understanding of the Nisk litho-structural setting, we can expect a well-planned drill program to help expand beyond our first pearl at Nisk Main to hopefully other pearls located in our project land package."

Tocvan Ventures Corp has announced that it will shortly be closing a non-brokered private placement of up to 432,750 units at C$0.80 per unit for gross proceeds of up to C$346,200. The company said the proceeds of the raise will go towards the advancement of the Pilar and El Picacho Au-Ag projects in Sonora, Mexico. "Recent drill success has put us in a favourable position as we continue to expand and define the extent of the mineralized system at Pilar," commented CEO, Brodie Sutherland in a statement. "These funds will ensure continued advancement of Pilar along with exploration at El Picacho to define drill targets."

American Eagle Gold Corp (TSX-V:AE) said it has appointed Joel Friedman to the company as chief financial officer. Friedman is a finance professional with over 13 years of experience working in the mining and cannabis industries. Most recently, Friedman served as the CFO of Khiron Life Sciences Corp, prior to this, he was vice-president of finance at CannTrust Inc, director of finance at Primero Mining Corp (TSX:P), and held senior finance roles at Banro Corp and Iamgold Corp. Friedman began his career at Deloitte in the real estate and resources group, where he worked with a variety of publicly listed clients throughout the mining life cycle, from exploration to multiasset operators. He holds a CPA, CA, and honours Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University, Canada. Ion Energy Ltd said the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing a term sheet agreement dated January 23, 2022, under which Ion Energy and Aranjin Resources Ltd will grant each other reciprocal exploration rights on their respective exploration licences within Mongolia, with Aranjin earning an 80% interest and the company earning a 20% interest in all base metal projects discovered on the company's properties, and the company earning an 80% interest and Aranjin earning a 20% interest in all lithium projects discovered on Aranjin's properties. Under the term sheet, each party will bear its own costs of exploration on the properties of the other party, with the company required to spend at least US$500,000 and Aranjin US$3 million over the three-year period. In case of any shortfall of its required expenditures, Aranjin may satisfy this shortfall through the payment of up to US$2.5 million to the company directly.
