Induction Healthcare Group PLC (AIM:INHC) said Dr Hugo Stephenson will stand down from his position as executive director of the company.
Stephenson, who is based in Australia, will return to the role of non-executive director, the position he held at the time of the company's admission to the AIM market in 2019, “after seeing priority ambitions for the group realised during the period of pandemic restrictions”, the healthcare technology company said in a statement.
It said the board change is a “natural evolution of the leadership structure in response to the strong trading position of the group at close of FY22” as well as the lifting of border restrictions allowing for more face-to-face interaction for the UK-based executive and senior management team.
"We are indebted to Hugo for his immense contribution to the business since the commencement of the pandemic during a period of uncertainty, changing rules, opportunities and challenges," said Induction CEO James Balmain. "As we evolve and expand internationally, I'm delighted that Induction will continue to benefit from his experience and expertise. We all are incredibly excited about the future prospects for the business."
The board change follows the integration of the Attend Anywhere acquisition. A platform that allows patients to virtually have a doctor’s appointment, Attend Anywhere was recently renewed across NHS England and played a part in Induction's positive post-period end trading update in April.
"James and his team have delivered a really strong end to FY22, providing an exemplary outcome for Attend Anywhere contract renewals, generating substantial demand for Zesty as the NHS emerges from pandemic pressures, and establishing a coordinated, global product and technology organisation,” said Stephenson.
