Aldoro Resources Ltd (ASX:ARN) is preparing for a maiden drill campaign at Wyemandoo critical metal pegmatite project in Western Australia with reverse circulation (RC) drilling expected to begin in the next five days, weather permitting.
The company has engaged experienced drilling contractor Three Rivers Drilling to provide an RC rig for the initial 3,500-metre program.
48 holes planned
An initial 48 holes will range from 80 to 150 metres in depth on azimuths of 145 degrees and dips of -60 degrees based on mapping, however pegmatite intercepts may dictate changes.
Multiple targets exist at Wyemandoo delineated by an extensive sampling program conducted in the second half of 2021 that showed very high rubidium grades and anomalous lithium grades.
Testing loop structures
During the sampling, Aldoro identified additional pegmatite loop structures that it intends to test in the RC drilling program.
The maiden drilling aims to confirm thickness, depth and orientation of surface exposed pegmatites in addition to potential mineralisation content at depth
Aldoro has secured all personnel, including geologists and field consultants, along with equipment to confidently prepare for the drilling.
