IQ AI notes success in tumour tissue study

"This relevant and powerful study further validates our decision to develop IB Trax,"

Imaging Biometrics, a subsidiary of IQ-AI Limited, has noted a recent study published in the American Journal of Neuroradiology.

Entitled: DSC Perfusion-Derived Fractional Tumor Burden and Relative CBV Differentiate Tumor Progression and Radiation Necrosis in Brain Metastases Treated with Stereotactic Radiosurgery, the goal of the study was to determine which, if any, imaging technology could reliably distinguish between progressive tumour and radiation necrosis (non-tumour) tissue.

The study concluded that IB Neuro's dynamic susceptibility contrast magnetic resonance imaging (DSC-MRI) perfusion-derived maps were able to make this distinction whereas the other methods to which it was compared could not.

"This relevant and powerful study further validates our decision to develop IB Trax," said Trevor Brown, CEO of IQ-AI.

“Incorporating our quantitative Delta T1 (patent-pending) and sRCBV maps will help neuroradiologists track and monitor brain metastases over time and potentially boost their accuracy and efficiency,"
