Xenetic Biosciences (NASDAQ:XBIO) CEO Jeffrey Eisenberg tells Proactive the biopharmaceutical company has acquired a platform technology from CLS Therapeutics to develop its interventional DNase based oncology platform. Eisenberg says DNase works specifically to target Neutrophil Extracellular Traps (NETs), which have been shown to be associated with a variety of cancers. Eisenberg says the transaction gives the group an opportunity to create breakthrough products to address hard to treat cancers.
