Universal Ibogaine Inc told investors that it has retained Shayne Nyquvest in a consulting role as capital markets advisor. Nyquvest, a co-founder of the company, has extensive capital markets experience, with over 40 years of involvement in aiding companies' strategic fund-raising activities, in the mining, cannabis and other emerging industries, the life sciences company said. He served as the former executive vice-president of investment banking firm Mackie Research Capital, where he worked from June 2015 to July 2018, and a was founding member of Canaccord Genuity Group, where he worked as a senior investment advisor from 1993 to 2013. "We are pleased to have Shayne re-engaged in our strategic, business development goals,” the company’s CEO Nick Karos said in a statement. “He has an extensive network in the investment community and was instrumental in UI's early-stage financing and research activities."

Vuzix Corporation (NASDAQ:VUZI), a leading supplier of smart glasses and augmented reality (AR) technology and products, has announced the release of an OS update, Version 2.5, for its M400 and M4000 smart glasses. The Rochester, New York-based company noted that the update follows on the heels of its recently expanded distribution footprint in Europe and Asia, and provides increased language support, including voice recognition of speech commands, for 28 languages. "Vuzix smart glasses are presently being used in a long list of countries around the world for a variety of applications and it is important for us to provide as much regional language support as possible," the company’s CEO Paul Travers said in a statement. "With this latest release, our M-Series smart glasses now provide the broadest language support of any smart glasses in the market.”

Canada Rare Earth Corp (TSX-V:LL) told investors it has filed documents with the TSX Venture Exchange seeking approval to close its six-cent-per-unit private placement financing for gross proceeds of $103,866.96. Upon receipt of approval, the company said it will issue 1,731,116 units, with each unit consisting of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will be exercisable for an additional common share for $0.08 for 24 months from the date of issue. The proceeds from the financing will be used to augment working capital for increasing trading activities, the company said.

ION Energy Ltd. Perk Labs Inc. (CSE:PERK, OTCQB:PKLBF) has told investors that it is at a critical inflection period as it scales up its Perk Hero mobile commerce platform. Reporting its fiscal 1Q 2022 results that showed an increase in R&D spending, the company said it has improved its technology and built the operational infrastructure to scale its restaurant solution and digital franchise program. "I believe our company is at an inflection point in terms of its ability to generate revenue as we ramp up sales and marketing of our digital dine-in and custom branded app solutions,” CFO Norman Tan said in a statement.

Numinus Wellness Inc. (TSX-V:NUMI, OTC:LKYSF) has announced a new series of ceremonial concerts that will explore the role music plays in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Fobi AI (TSX-V:FOBI, OTCQB:FOBIF) has announced the launch of its wholly-owned PulseIR subsidiary, which will provide a new data-driven and mobile approach to investor relations with the company’s recently-launched Investor Pass product. The data intelligence provider said PulseIR, which will also offer a full suite of custom managed and contract services, will earn revenue from annual license fees, marketing and contract development service fees, media advertising and sponsorship and referral fees. “With today’s launch of PulseIR, we believe it puts us in a very strong position to further add great value in the form of various new lines of revenue,” Fobi CEO Rob Anson said in a statement.

Benchmark Metals Inc. (TSX-V:BNCH, OTCQX:BNCHF) has reported results from infill and expansion drilling at the Dukes Ridge deposit at its flagship Lawyers project in British Columbia, including 1.72 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 64.41 g/t silver or 2.52 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) over 57.0 metres (m). The Edmonton-based precious metals explorer said Dukes Ridge remains a significant potential source for additional gold-silver ounces at Lawyers, with the latest results extending known mineralization to over 325 metres vertical depth from surface, more than 170 metres below the existing 2021 mineral resource estimate (MRE) pit-shell. "Dukes Ridge continues to deliver strong drill results and the continuity of high-grade mineralization to depth is well below the existing 2021 resource pit-shell. We expect Dukes to contribute additional gold-silver ounces to the project with continued drilling,” Benchmark's CEO John Williamson said in a statement.

Bridgeline Digital Inc (NASDAQ:BLIN) said its Hawksearch product has been chosen by one of the largest privately-owned banks in the US to bolster the website customer experience for close to 1 million customers across over 80 locations. Bridgeline already supports several regional banks and credit unions, and financial institutions are a rapidly growing category within its customer base. American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC) said it has struck a multi-year lease for its Deane Mining complex to a high-quality, local, third-party operator, Bluegrass Resources. Under the terms of the lease, American Resources will receive an upfront cash payment of $100,000 a month for the first two months followed by a $20,000 monthly minimum until production. Once in production, American Resources will receive the higher of $5 per ton or 5% of gross sales generated from the Deane Mining complex. The lease is for a five-year period with renewable options from there on, noted the company. In a statement, American Resources CEO Mark Jensen said: "As one of the largest owners of mining infrastructure in our region, we are happy to have entered into this lease and partnership with a very reputable local operator. Our Deane Mining complex is a top-tier asset and idled complex, but does not happen to be in our current operational plan, nor in our next phase of growth plans over the next five years.”

AEX Gold Inc (AIM:AEXG, TSX-V:AEX)successfully achieved all of its revised goals in 2021, chief executive Eldur Olafsson said in a statement alongside the Greenland-focused group’s annual results. “Notably we have made considerable progress at Nalunaq and across the portfolio,” he said. Halyard completed a third-party engineering study, which is a major part of the technical work that will underpin the development of the Nalunaq project, he said.

One World Lithium Inc. (CSE:OWLI, OTCQB:OWRDF)(OWL) has announced that The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) has granted the company a provisional license to use its patented lithium brine separation technology. The NETL, a unit of the US Department of Energy (DOE), is working on a sustainable green technology to extract and separate lithium from natural brines. The Vancouver-based OWL said the license will be perfected upon obtaining the NETL/Department of Energy's approval of the company's plan to commercialize its patented technology.

Mobilum Technologies Inc. (CSE:MBLM) has announced the appointment of payments industry veteran Steven LaBella as its chief executive officer, replacing Wojciech Kaszycki who will step down as CEO and president but remain as Mobilum chairman of the board. The company noted that LaBella, a Fintech expert who has grown companies from founding to $100 million in annual recurring revenue in less than five years, has more than 20 years domestic and international payments, mobile remittance and mobile wallet experience. "Mr LaBella provides the experience and skillset to take Mobilum to the next level of its growth trajectory. We are excited to have an individual with his track record join Mobilum's team and we are eager to build value for our shareholders," Mobilum chairman Kaszycki said in a statement.

The company said Jalwa’s term in office starts when the company's audited financials have been filed alongside an orderly handover period.
