Carnavale Resources Ltd (ASX:CAV)’s Humphrey Hale discusses the completion of a second round of reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Kookynie Gold Project in Western Australia. The company was following up high-grade intercepts with infill 40-metre spaced drilling and is now awaiting assays for 30 holes totalling 5,210 metres, expected at the end of June.
Drilling at the McTavish East prospect extended the target’s strike length to 350 metres laterally and over 200 metres of depth. Carnavale also drilled its first RC holes at the McTavish North prospect, investigating promising air core results from the new target area.
The company is engaged in a busy quarter of exploration across its projects, including the Ora Banda South Gold Project and the Grey Dam Nickel-Copper Project.
