Sanatana Resources Inc has retained Jeff Kyba as its British Columbia exploration manager to advance exploration and drilling at its Oweegee Dome property in BC’s Golden Triangle.
With a degree in Earth and Ocean Science from the University of Victoria, Kyba has held various field appointments with junior and mid-tier companies and the BC Geological Survey across British Columbia and Australia, Sanatana said in a statement.
“His experience spans grassroots exploration to deposit delineation for precious and base metals as well as five years of regional oversight of all exploration and mining projects in northwestern BC for the provincial government,” the company said.

According to Sanatana, Kyba has completed extensive site visits and field work investigating the variety of mineral deposit types and controls on mineralization throughout the region.
He also developed a map identifying favourable mineral exploration areas, commonly known as the Kyba Red Line, which the company said remains in use today to identify unexplored areas and guide grassroots target generation.
Sanatana CEO Peter Miles said he was excited to have Kyba onboard ahead of the company’s upcoming exploration program at Oweegee.
“His knowledge of BC geology, particularly within the Golden Triangle, and his recognition of the Kyba Red Line are well known and well respected within the exploration industry,” Miles said in a statement.
Kyba said as BC exploration manager he was privileged to be integrated into all aspects of Sanatana’s upcoming Oweegee program.
“Sanatana’s team is in position to get to work and build our understanding beyond the porphyry exposure we recognized in 2021 and test below surface,” he said.
“Oweegee has always been an excellent geological address and now that we have defined the copper-gold bearing phase, the next step is to drill test it.”
