Honeycomb Investment Trust plc (LSE:HONY) delivered a net asset value (NAV) return of 0.66% in March or the equivalent of 7.8% per annum.
The specialist finance provider said the NAV return was driven by a strong risk-adjusted yield of 9.0%, while net investment assets increased to £586mln from £580mln at the end of February.
A drawdown on a senior electric vehicle fleet financing facility and net deployment of £7.3mln across the senior real estate debt facilities boosted the number.
There is also a pipeline of £400mln of well-progressed deals across Europe and sectors including micro-mobility, small balance SME loans and insurance run-off financing.
Manager Pollen Street Capital said there are also opportunities in sustainability-oriented sectors offering attractive risk-adjusted returns.
