Kingwest Resources Ltd (ASX:KWR)'s Ed Turner tells Andrew Scott about the Menzies gold deposit, which has surpassed half a million ounces at an average grade of 1.3g/t. Most of the increased gold is within the Lady Shenton system and open at depth and the company is looking at extensional drilling to grow the resource further. Recovery costs are low, at around $5 per gram, representing good value for shareholders. Meanwhile, diamond drilling at Goongarrie Gold is going well, with the first hole of an inaugural 4,000-metre campaign complete.
