SenSen Networks Ltd (ASX:SNS, OTCQB:SNNSF)’s work with Brisbane City Council continues to pay off, with the LGA ordering four additional vehicle-mounted AI solutions for automated parking enforcement in the Australian city.
The pair has been working together since February 2017, when SenSen first partnered with Brisbane City Council, Australia’s largest council, to provide a range of solutions relating to suburban safety mobile technology.
This new agreement will start in June 2022 and will see the AI software and solution provider earn an initial upfront payment of A$278,000 from the council, as well as ongoing licensing and service and processing fees of a minimum A$280,000 per annum on the four additional systems.
Growing partnership
SenSen will deploy four mobile automated parking enforcement units along with associated software and services, with the new order bringing the total to 11 vehicle-mounted systems to help automate parking enforcement and sign audit processes and assist in managing the city’s traffic congestion problems.
SenSen CEO Dr Subhash Challa said of the new agreement, “We are delighted to further grow our partnership with Brisbane City Council, one of the most forward-thinking cities in Australia which uses our AI parking solutions.
“SenSen continues to experience significant growth as cities worldwide are now adopting this technology to reduce congestion and improve the parking experience of citizens.”
