Northstar Gold Corp has told investors that an independent NI 43-101 technical report has been completed for its Bryce gold project in Ontario, which sits 35 kilometres (km) south of its flagship Miller gold asset.
Ronacher McKenzie Geoscience completed the report following a recent airborne LiDAR survey and Fall 2021 surface exploration at the property, which Northstar aims to advance, potentially via an earn-in agreement or spin-out transaction.
"Several major, northeast-trending structures were interpreted from a 2021 LiDAR survey and magnetic survey in the northern and western part of the property," the company said in a statement. "Follow-up prospecting, sampling and mapping along the major northeast-trending fault (PVE Fault) and splays is warranted," it added.

The report also recommends a C$528,500 exploration program to include geological modeling, incorporating property-wide historic and Northstar geological data, and diamond drilling on the Sunday Creek and Pike Lake areas to further assess gold-bearing zones.
The wholly-owned Bryce project spans 4,650 hectares (Ha) and is situated on the western extension of the Ridout Break, 65 km east of the Juby gold project.
It hosts a variety of deposit types including porphyry related gold-copper (Sunday Creek Porphyry), gold-rich copper-lead-zinc volcanogenic massive sulphides (Pike Lake Zone) and lode gold systems within an Abitibi multi-stage Archean porphyry / volcanic centre environment.
The 300m by 1,500-metre gold-copper Sunday Creek porphyry discovery hosts a large scale stockwork-type porphyry system with widespread stringers and veins of high-grade gold mineralization open in all directions and expanding towards surface.
The property also hosts several large IP targets and conductors, which remain untested.
Northstar's Miller gold project sits 18 km southeast of Kirkland Lake and Agnico Eagle Mines' Macassa SMC gold mine. Northstar believes that the property is highly prospective for the discovery of a large-scale, higher grade gold system similar to the deposits of the Kirkland Lake camps that produced over 24 million ounces of gold from seven mines.
