PVW Resources Ltd (ASX:PVW) is progressing exploration at its Tanami Heavy Rare Earth Project, following delays due to the wet season and high COVID infection rates within the Kimberley region.
The company is set to return to the field and start exploration, as well as a heritage survey scheduled for early May.
Its team is currently on-site with Cultural Monitors locating drill holes and access tracks and acquiring data on new targets.
The preparatory work will enable the drill program to begin as soon as possible upon completion of the heritage survey.
Executive director George Bauk said the team had prepared an exciting 2022 exploration program, with the maiden Tanami drill program to begin in May.
“We have an exciting 3-kilometre-long target at the Killi Killi East prospect, with a large amount of rock chips over 1% TREO and up to 12.45% TREO (124,500 parts per million TREO).
“We have several areas identified for follow up in 2022 to explore and hopefully add to the list of drill-ready targets.”
