ACME Lithium reveals exploration update on its projects in Nevada, Manitoba, and Oregon

The mineral exploration company said it is in the late stages of preparation for a multi-hole drill program at its Clayton Valley project and will also conduct an extensive soil and till sampling program at its Shatford Lake and Cat-Euclid

ACME Lithium Inc has provided a corporate update on the exploration status of its Clayton Valley, Nevada lithium brine project, as well as its projects in Manitoba and Oregon.

The mineral exploration company said it is in the late stages of preparation for a planned multi-hole drill program at its Clayton Valley project, which will focus on the most prospective lithium brine targets as defined by geophysical work completed in the fall of 2021.

ACME noted the Nevada project is contiguous to Albemarle's Silver Peak lithium resource and production facility.

The company added that it will provide further updates once the drilling contractor has mobilized, and drilling begins.

As well, ACME said it has contracted Norsemen Exploration Inc to conduct an extensive soil and till sampling program at the company's Shatford Lake and Cat-Euclid Lake projects in Manitoba, which is expected to begin in late spring.

Its exploration strategy in the Bird River Greenstone Belt is to employ remote sensing, structural geology, ground-based geological mapping, and geochemical sampling to localize targets for drilling, focusing on spodumene-bearing Lithium-Cesium-Tantalum (LCT) pegmatites that can be a source for lithium carbonate deposits, according to the company.

ACME also reported that has completed 29.1 line miles of the previously announced induced polarization (IP) survey at its prospective Warm Springs project in Oregon.

The company noted it has postponed its next phase of work on the Warm Springs project pending clarification of claim status and permitting requirements with the Bureau of Land Management.

ACME Lithium is focused on acquiring, exploring and developing battery metal projects in partnership with leading technology and commodity companies. The company has acquired or is under option to acquire a 100% interest in projects located in Clayton Valley and Fish Lake Valley, Esmeralda County Nevada, southeast Oregon and in southeastern Manitoba.
