Blackbird PLC (AIM:BIRD, OTCQX:BBRDF) said it will feature its video cloud video editing platform at Microsoft’s booth at the National Association of Broadcasters event 2022.
The event, which takes place from 23 April to 27 April in Las Vegas, allows media companies showcase their technology and services.
AIM-listed Blackbird said its platform, Blackbird Edge, can be set up on Microsoft Azure, the cloud computing service, within minutes.
According to the statement, Blackbird’s services are compatible with Azure Blob Storage, Microsoft’s cloud storage solution, which allows for the immediate import and publishing of data.
Additionality, Blackbird is integrated with Azure Media Service, which allows for the transfer of media from any device to anywhere else in the cloud, encoding data as it is sent.
A “growing number” of organisations used Blackbird on Azure, including Deltatre and the National Rugby League.
“We look forward to building a lasting relationship with Microsoft where we have multiple touch points in media, entertainment and the cloud,” said chief executive Ian McDonough.
