Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd and the Planet Hollywood Group announced their new MetaHollywood joint venture today, creating the largest metaverse community for cinema lovers.
Users will be able to interact within a Hollywood-themed metaverse and explore a marketplace for digital collectibles, moments, events, and experiences powered by blockchain technology and MetaHollywood’s native utility token.
Hollywood's iconic assets
Digital collectibles, movies, clips, and other assets will be available for purchase as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), including NFTs based on some of Planet Hollywood’s most iconic physical assets including photography, movie posters and memorabilia.
This will include the tokenisation of more than 60,000 of Planet Hollywood’s iconic motion picture memorabilia encompassing all popular film genres, providing the community with exclusive benefits and offerings.
