Hillcrest Energy Technologies (CSE:HEAT, OTCQB:HLRTF) Chief Technology Officer Ari Berger joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has completed initial internal testing of its high-efficiency inverter with an electric motor. The white paper released today and confirms inverter efficiency exceeding 99% and significantly improved drivetrain system efficiency at switching frequencies up to 60 kHz. Berger talks about how the test was done using the 10kW Hillcrest high-efficiency inverter proof of concept on an 80kW electric motor currently used in EV powertrain applications. He also talks about the future impact this could have on the electric vehicles market.
