Ultra Lithium Inc told investors it has entered into a purchase, sale and joint venture (JV) agreement with Yahua International Investment and Development Co. to sell a 60% interest in its Georgia Lake and Forgan Lake properties to Yahua for C$8 million. The company said Yahua will also make a strategic investment of C$5 million as part of a non-brokered private placement in which it plans to raise aggregate gross proceeds of up to C$7 million through the placement of 29.8 million units at $0.235 each. "We are very pleased to enter this strategic partnership with Yahua as one of the major producers and suppliers of battery-grade lithium products in the world,” Ultra Lithium CEO Weiguo Lang said in a statement. “Yahua brings world-class expertise in the hard rock lithium space and a long-term perspective to the Company. Vuzix Corporation, a leading supplier of smart glasses and augmented reality (AR) technology and products, has announced it has received a low six-figure dollar follow-on order for additional customized waveguide-based head-worn AR display engines from a major US defense contractor. The Rochester, New York-based company said it expects further non-recurring engineering (NRE) revenues in subsequent phases before a customer-accepted final product design leads to an eventual production program order. Great Atlantic Resources Corp released impressive gold assay and multi-element analyses for drill core samples from the first five holes of its 2021 diamond drilling program at its Keymet base and precious metals project, in northern New Brunswick. The Vancouver-based exploration company said the drilling program consisted of 10 holes spread over 2,061 meters (m) and tested “numerous targets” in the northwest part of the property. Great Atlantic highlighted a new gold discovery (Debler Zone) in drill hole Ky-21-25, including 3.17 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 0.70m core length and polymetallic veins in hole Ky-21-27 (Elmtree 12 Zone), including 7.02% zinc equivalent over 0.92 meters core length.
Forte Minerals Corp. The Greenwood mining camp is considered to be one of the highest concentrated areas of past producing copper and gold mines in North America, it added. “The phase-one drilling was designed to initially test certain geophysical anomalies for mineralization and determine which combined geophysical signatures (magnetic, chargeability and resistivity high-lows) best correlate to mineralization,” Belmont said in a statement. “The identified composite signature will then be used to better delineate further drill targets in phase-two drilling.”
