Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd and subsidiary Grease Monkey Games are partnering with Formula DRIFT to release Torque Drift 2 in North America and Japan.
The game will feature fully functional and playable NFTs and include play-to-earn opportunities while offering item trades on secondary marketplaces.
This new industry partnership and collaboration extends a long-standing partnership between Grease Monkey games and Formula DRIFT and extends it to the metaverse.
Torque Drift 2 will offer unique virtual experiences that will be integrated into Animoca Brands' REVV Motorsport ecosystem.

REVV Motorsport is an ecosystem of racing blockchain games by Animoca Brands powered by REVV, the token that serves as the primary currency of utility, purchase and action for the ecosystem.
REVV is designed to enable players to have true digital ownership of their in-game assets, giving them control over their NFTs across a growing number of metaverse racing games, including REVV Racing, MOTOGP Ignition, Formula E: High Voltage and now Torque Drift 2.
Official Formula DRIFT NFTs will be available in Torque Drift 2 for players to own, trade and earn.

The worldwide premiere of the Torque Drift 2 reveal trailer during the live broadcast of Formula DRIFT, round 2, is on May 7.
