Railtown AI Technologies Inc. announced the release of Railtown Root Cause Discovery for JavaScript, the most popular programming language with over 12 million developers worldwide.
In a statement, Railtown CEO Cory Brandolini, said: "This new roll-out of Railtown for JavaScript is part of our overall strategy of applying our Machine Learning Engine to all applications built in any programming language thus providing the most accurate Single Source of Truth to the Root Cause of any error or bug within any application".
Root Cause Analysis is a useful process for understanding and solving a problem.
"Catching all issues at their root cause is crucial and will drive down inefficiencies in software engineering, improve the health of the application, eliminate critical and damaging bugs, and drive developer velocity," noted Railtown chief technology officer Marwan Haddad comments.

The Burnaby, British Columbia-based company pointed out that JavaScript runs on over 150 million applications and over 1.5 billion websites, according ZDNET. Therefore, Railtown said adding a JavaScript solution to the company’s product lineup that includes its .NET solution exposes the Railtown Machine Learning Platform to an “even bigger and broader marketplace of developers and applications.”
Being able to service both .NET, which is one of the most popular backend programming languages, and JavaScript, which is the most popular frontend programming language, uniquely positions Railtown to be the Single Source of Truth for Root Cause Discovery for both the backend and the frontend of any application, noted the company.
Railtown has developed a Software as a service (SaaS) delivered solution for software development teams that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to drive optimizations and deliver insights at every stage of software development.
