BATM Advanced Communications Ltd (LSE:BVC, OTC:BTAVF) has appointed a new independent director.
He is Dr Avigdor Shafferman, the former Director-General of Israel’s Institute for Biological Research.
The 75-year-old was previously an external director of BATM, a networking technologies and medical systems group.
Chairman, Dr Gideon Chitayat, said of Shafferman’s appointment: “He made an excellent contribution to our business previously and we look forward to once again being able to leverage his wealth of knowledge and experience as we continue to advance our leading-edge medical diagnostics solutions."
