Landore Resources Ltd (AIM:LND) is to recommence exploration for lithium on the northern zone of the Junior Lake property in Ontario.
In this area, Landore has already discovered two pegmatites, Swole Lake and Tape Lake pegmatites. Together with the historic Despard occurrence, these make the area highly prospective.
A previous drill hole intersected up to 1.68% lithium oxide (Li2O) over 6.1 metres.
There are several mineral projects in the vicinity of Junior Lake which are highly prospective for lithium, including the Seymour Lake and Falcon Lake projects.
Meanwhile, at Felix Lake, extreme winter conditions have delayed the commencement of drilling, with operations now expected to begin in early July 2022.
And at BAM, work on an updated gold resource is ongoing and a pre-feasibility study is expected to commence in the second half of the year.
Separately, Landore also retains a 3% net smelter return on the Root Lake lithium project in central north western Ontario, approximately 300 kilometres north west of Thunder Bay, which is host to the McCombe pegmatite.
