Oil prices fell to their lowest closing level in three weeks after international agreements to release more reserves.
The International Energy Agency's member countries confirmed they would release 60mln barrels of crude, which comes on top of the US release of 180mln from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
Brent crude futures, which following Russia's invasion of Ukraine had risen to US$139 a barrel at one point, the highest level for almost 14 years, fell to just over US$100 overnight.
By late morning on Thursday, Brent was up 1.4% to US$102.51.
