Savannah Resources PLC (AIM:SAV, ETR:SAV, OTC:SAVNF) said Mary Jo Jacobi and Manohar Pundalik Shenoy will join the board as non-executive directors with immediate effect.
Jo Jacobi will become a member of the remuneration and audit and risk committee.
She has experience advising clients in the natural resources industry, according to a statement from the mineral resource development company.
Jacobi currently serves as a non-executive at The Weir Group, a Scottish engineering company, and has held senior positions at BP America, Royal Dutch Shell and HSBC Holdings among others.
“She also has a wealth of relevant industry expertise via her past roles with Shell and BP and her current position at the Weir Group,” said chairman Matthew King.
Shenoy has over 47 years worth of corporate experience, holding various board positions including CFO at W J Towell and Co LLC, a wholesaler in Oman.
He previously acted as an alternate director to Maqbool Ali Sultan, a non-executive, since 2016.
As part of the changes, Ali Sultan is retiring as well as Murtadha Ahmed Sultan, who served as an alternate director for Imad Kamal Abdul Redha Sultan.
