Aircraft leasing specialist Avation PLC (LSE:AVAP) said it has appointed Soeren Ferre as head of commercial development.
Formerly the chief executive of AerCap Group Services, one of the world’s largest aircraft leasing companies, Ferre will assist with commercial projects including leasing and trading aircraft.
During the seven years Ferre was at AerCap, the company grew its portfolio from US$2bn to US$10bn.
Avation chairman Jeff Chatfield said: "The company needs to accelerate away from the COVID-19 crisis and restore growth and development in 2023, the foundations need to be established now during the industry recovery phase.”
