Goldseek Resources Inc announced results from the first five drill holes at the Beschefer project in Quebec, which included 3.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 12.1 metres (m) as well as 7.2 g/t gold over 2.7m.
The company said the results successfully extend the East Zone 30m to the west.
“We are very excited to announce this step-out hole (BE-22-21) on the East Zone, supporting the expansion potential and our goal of connecting the Central Shallow and East Zones sharing the same structure and mineralization,” Goldseek Resources CEO Jon Deluce said in a statement.

“We believe these first 5 holes were a success hitting gold in 4 of 5 holes, proving the continuity and predictability of the B14 structure,” Deluce added.
Goldseek also noted that results obtained from hole BE-22-20, which included 3.2 g/t gold over 9.1m, represent further strong infill drilling within the Central Shallow Zone, supporting the company’s goal of a maiden resource estimate.
The Beschefer project is located about 30 kilometres southwest of Wallbridge Mining Company Limited (TSX:WM)'s Fenelon gold project.
The mineralization shows high-grade gold-bearing structures hosted in a lower grade envelope, highlighting the regional potential along the already defined shear zones on the property, according to the company.
Goldseek signed an option agreement with Wallbridge to earn a 100% interest in the project over four years.
Goldseek Resources is a Canadian exploration company with a portfolio of assets in Ontario and Quebec, Canada. The company's mission is to find the next major discovery in the mining camps of Urban Barry, Quevillon, Val D’Or, and Detour Gold Trend in Quebec and Hemlo in Ontario.
