BTU Metals set to kick off drilling at Tooth area of its Dixie Halo project in Ontario

The gold exploration company said the immediate focus of drilling is towards the eastern part of the Tooth area, which has never been tested

BTU Metals Corp announced that it has mobilized a diamond drill on the Tooth area of its Dixie Halo project in Ontario’s Red Lake mining district, which is near its northern border immediately south of the Great Bear Resources (TSX-V:GBR)/Kinross LP fault gold discovery area.

The gold exploration company said the immediate focus of drilling is towards the eastern part of the Tooth area, which has never been tested.

BTU also noted the area is immediately east of where it intersected gold values of up to 2 grams per tonne.

As well, the company said the area remains a significant target in the northern part of the property, where a completely overburden covered area nearly 2 kilometres (km) east-west and about 1 km north-south remains completely untested.

It added that there are structural offsets of magnetic trends in the area and areas of magnetic destruction, both of which indicate the location of significant structures that may be gold bearing.

BTU Metals is a junior, mining exploration company focused on its Dixie Halo project located in Red Lake, Ontario.
