Energy will make the headlines tomorrow with the government finally unveiling its new strategy to keep the lights on without using Russian oil or gas.
There are other things to watch for, notably the latest Halifax House Price Index, which recorded inflation of nearly 11% year-on-year in February. Whether higher interest rates had had any impact will be something to note.
On the company front, Entain PLC (LSE:ENT), the Ladbrokes, Coral, Sportingbet and Foxy Bingo owner is being tipped for 15% revenue growth across the group in 2022 and £1bn in underlying profits and guidance towards that is what the markets want tomorrow.
Robert Walters will be an interesting one to keep an eye out for, with its trading update analysed closely for any signs that the post-lockdown jobs boom is fading.
The recruiter recently announced its highest ever profits, which jumped four-fold to £50mln in 2021.
Permanent staff is where the demand is most keen, said the staffing agency, with working from home not having any noticeable effect on rocketing recruitment levels.
