Braveheart Investment raises £215,000 in placing to help fund new investments

"We are delighted to have been able to raise this extra funding which will enable Braveheart to continue its investment in portfolio assets," said CEO Trevor Brown

Braveheart Investment Group PLC (AIM:BRH) said it raised £215,113 via a conditional placing of 1,434,091 new shares at 15 pence a piece.

The proceeds will fund new investments and working capital and represented around 2.67% of the enlarged issued share capital, a statement said.

The shares were at a 10% discount to yesterday’s closing price of 16.5p.

The sale was managed by company broker Peterhouse Capital Limited (LSE:CAPD).

Braveheart said its chief executive, Trevor Brown, subscribed for 143,407 shares in the placing, taking his total holding to 9.12%.

"We are delighted to have been able to raise this extra funding which will enable Braveheart to continue its investment in portfolio assets," commented Brown.
