Gaming Realms PLC (AIM:GMR, OTCQX:PSDMF) said seven of its mobile games were launched in the Canadian province of Ontario on Monday, the first day its regulated gaming market opened.
The Slingo games are being operated in the province by betting companies BetMGM, Kindred and Rush Street Interactive (BetRivers).
More content is expected to be certified “very soon”, the company added, with agreements to go live in place with several other leading operators.
“We have been looking forward to launching in Ontario once the market opened, and we are delighted that our content is now live in what will be one of the biggest markets for Gaming Realms in North America,” said Michael Buckley, Gaming Realms’ executive chairman.
“With thirteen deals signed for Ontario, and many more in the pipeline, this expands and strengthens our global presence while bringing our hugely popular and innovative Slingo content to a new audience.”
With Ontario’s population around 15mln, he said this means the company’s games are now available to more than 20mln people in Canada, following the recently announced deal with Loto-Québec.
