Faron Pharma’s COO Juho Jalkanen talks about the decision to end the HIBISCUS Covid trial and when it goes now with Traumakine.
Covid numbers are all-time low in the US currently, he said, so we weren't seeing enough patients and those that were coming through had often been pre-treated with steroids, which reduces the effect of Tramaukine/interferon beta.
Going forward, there are lots of other areas where Traumakine can be of benefit, he says, and clinical steps are being planned but this needs to be a clear-cut setting without steroids.
