Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd and South Korea's Cube Entertainment joint venture AniCube will stage a free airdrop of video non-fungible tokens (NFTs) featuring Cube Ent's most popular K-pop artists.
K-culture, or South Korean pop culture content, has gained global prominence in the last few years and Anicube is creating a music metaverse by utilising NFTs and ecosystem tokens based on the intellectual property rights of Cube Ent's globally popular K-pop music artists.
Anicube utilises blockchain technology, including NFTs, in order to ensure creators and fans have the opportunity to benefit from true digital property rights.
In order to qualify for the free airdrop, fans must connect their MetaMask wallets to https://www.anicube.com before 11 am (KST) on April 15, 2022.
All eligible fans who own Anicube video NFTs will receive them via airdrop on the Polygon chain by April 18, 2022. In addition to their collectibility, the company said owners of these NFTs would enjoy the benefits of using them in Anicube's metaverse that is being built.
More information is to be provided in the future.
