The biotech stock wants to improve how these cancers are detected and treated, because there's value in getting to them in the early stages. Right now, there's no way to detect ovarian cancer early on, but Hinch says if INOVIQ's test is successful, it would represent a world-first solution for this cancer's early detection and screening. In 2022, Hinch and her team will keep fine-tuning these solutions in the hopes of getting a test to market in late 2023.
