Future Metals NL (ASX:FME, AIM:FME)’s Jardee Kininmonth talks resource definition drilling at the Panton project, which has demonstrated platinum group metal (PGM) mineralisation far exceeding the current mineral resource estimate. The current estimate is based on 0.1-4.0 metres of mineralised width, while recent drilling has revealed widths of 50-100 metres at a slightly lower grade.
The company is still awaiting assays for 44 holes drilled at the project, which will be incorporated into an updated mineral resource to be released sometime in May. A review of historical data is now being incorporated into bulk-tonnage test work and other activities, assessing multiple options for processing the resource.
