DomaCom Australia Ltd (ASX:DCL) has appointed a new chair, chief executive officer and director to its board in preparation for continued growth and relisting to the ASX.
Dr John Hewson, a former Liberal Party leader and experienced economist, has been appointed as the DomaCom non-executive chair, while experienced financial services leader John Elkovich has been appointed CEO with immediate effect.
Angela Williams has also joined the board as a director and experienced marketer in the fin-tech space.
Former chair Grahame Evans will remain on the board as a non-executive deputy chair, while former CEO Arthur Naoumidis has left the company.
Dr Hewson said the board thanked Naoumidis for his commitment and leadership of the company over the past decade.
“Arthur’s entrepreneurial skills in identifying and bringing a revolutionary new offering to the market demonstrates his innate capacity to pioneer in a market place which has lacked invention,” Dr Hewson said.
“We wish him well in his future endeavours.”
Dr Hewson welcomed Elkovich to the role of CEO and said he looked forward to engaging with him given his exceptional experience in financial services and his ability to scale financial services firms.
From here the board intends to swiftly apply for relisting and after a short review period – assessing a major fundraising round – will take advantage of growth opportunities to scale the company substantially.
