Brascan Gold (CSE:BRAS) CEO Balbir Johal joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has begun field work at the Alegre gold project in Northern Brazil. Field crews are on site, commencing a five- month program. Balbir telling Proactive the work should define initial drill targets in prospective gold mineralized areas. The key will be to define structures which are expected to produce bedrock drill targets associated with the gold mineralization that is currently being exploited by the garimpeiros in the near-surface weathered rocks. Balbir also told Proactive the company with its subsidiary Baie Verte Resources have entered into an agreement for two properties in North and Central Newfoundland.
